Today is a better day

I stood up for myself today.  The beginning of taking my career into my own hands.  It felt good.  Not exactly at the time, but the afterglow is nice.  "Hey, do you mind taking this crap assignment for undetermined amount of time?"  Why I matter of fact I do mind.  I have a life and I'm not going to spend it five days a week on the road for the next year.  That is contrary to my personal goals.  Ahhh.
